Our Story

In the summer of 2020, a small group of adults and children started meeting in our backyards, doing what Christians have done since the earliest days: reading the Scriptures aloud, singing hymns, praying, teaching, and loving one another.

After several months of meeting together, the Lord began to place in our hearts the desire and hope of planting a new church. Following a period of waiting and praying we set out on the adventure of planting Holy Covenant Church on May 22, 2022.

We meet on Sunday mornings, and our weekly worship follows the liturgical patterns of the church throughout the ages. We also meet in our homes on Thursday evenings for fellowship, study, and prayer. We would love for you to visit and to join us on this journey!

Our Name

Our name draws from the Song of Zechariah (the Benedictus) in Luke 1:68-79. It reminds us that God fulfills all that he has promised to his covenant people in the gospel. Now we long to see
the light of Christ shine on those who "sit in darkness and in the shadow of death".
