Join Us For Worship

Hymns  |  Lectionary Readings  |  Creeds & Prayer  |  Expositional Preaching  |  Lord's Supper

When And Where

We are currently meeting at the Bethany Chapel building at 404 N. President St. in Wheaton. Our service begins at 10:15 a.m. and ends around 11:30 a.m., with
catechism classes before the service at 9:30 a.m.

Order of Service

At our Sunday service, we follow a warm and intentional order of service that draws from enduring Christian practices. We read passages from the Old Testament, Psalms, New Testament, and Gospels. We sing ancient and modern hymns, and we recite the historic creeds of the Church. Following our sermon, we celebrate the Lord's Supper each week.

What About Kids?

Children of all ages are welcome in our worship service. Over half of our congregation is under the age of 18! You might hear children whispering or babies crying during our service, and that's OK. Our church rejoices in the words of Jesus: “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” There is a nursery room downstairs where the sermon audio from the sanctuary can be heard, but we
don't currently have a staffed nursery.

The Dress Code

Dress comfortably. Our elders get buttoned up to preach, but you'll see plenty of people wearing jeans, too. You'll blend in no matter what you're wearing.

Go In Peace. Stay For Coffee.

We hope you'll stay after the service for coffee and cookies! Adults and children gather in our fellowship hall, or outside when weather allows, to enjoy an hour of conversation and laughter. Also keep an eye out for our periodic fellowship meals after the service.

Parking

We have a few parking spots in the parking lot at Bethany Chapel. Be careful, the parking lot entrance and exit are steep. We have plenty of overflow parking on the opposite corner of the intersection in the Metra parking lot. Parking in the Metra lot is free on weekends. Click here to see a parking map.
